[Help] LiDAR Sim build issue

Hi,

I've been trying to get the LiDAR simulator in the sensor intergration part of the Onboard SDK and I'm getting errors I can't seem to solve.

I've got to the LiDAR Simulation section here. And have installed all the necessary dependencies including VTK following the instructions on the link given.

However, when I try to build the simulator using cmake I get the following error:
CMake Warning (dev) at sim/CMakeLists.txt:60 (add_dependencies):
Policy CMP0046 is not set: Error on non-existent dependency in
add_dependencies.  Run "cmake --help-policy CMP0046" for policy details.
Use the cmake_policy command to set the policy and suppress this warning.

The dependency target "VTK" of target "Simulator" does not exist.
This warning is for project developers.  Use -Wno-dev to suppress it.

Looking inside the CMakeLists.txt shows it's looking for VTK in 4 locations:
# Find VTK in your system
set(VTK_CMAKE_PATHS
  /lib/cmake
  /usr/lib/cmake
  /usr/local/lib/cmake/
  /opt/VTK-7.0.0/lib/cmake

All but the /usr/local/lib/cmake are empty, in this one there is a vtk-7.0 folder with various files inside.

Does anyone know why VTK isn't being found? Am I not setting a PATH when needed? Any help would be very appreciated.
